An Approach to Holistic Health and Fitness that is Sensible and Simple!

When many people think “Holistic Health”, they envision some witch doctor or medicine man who burns incense and recommends that you eat the root of some rare Amazonian plant to get rid of your nagging back pain.

Well, there’s no need to worry.  Our definition of Holistic Health is a little more reasonable and mainstream.  To FRESH!, Holistic essentially means that we combine all of the most important factors to help you reach your goals.

Most gyms, fitness centers, personal trainers, or other health care practitioners merely touch on one or two of the major ones that fit with their knowledge level or background.  For example, trainers will focus on basic fitness (i.e “kicking your butt”) and perhaps a little “Canada Food Guide” nutrition.  A nutritionist may go deeper into the Canada Food Guide Approach and provide you some very general exercise guidelines (such as “work out more”!).
